Shell Scripting One Liners

To capture date parameters on shell
Day = date cut -d' ' -f1
Month = date cut -d' ' -f2
Date = date cut -d' ' -f3
Hour = date cut -d' ' -f4 cut -d':' -f1
Minutes = cut -d' ' -f4 cut -d':' -f2
Seconds = date cut -d' ' -f4 cut -d':' -f3
